I told her it was time for CLOSED primaries.

She again told me the RNC doesn't support closed primaries.

Until we have closed primaries we do not stand a chance of winning. A.C.O.R.N. and their tax dollars for one reason.

........Texas primaries are open and it hasnt made the Republican primary voter pool any less hard-core conservative.

Texas is much more Conservative than other states. Closed primaries and conservative Secretaries of State are the answer.

Closed primaries do NOT prevent moderates, dems, or indies from officially joining the party on the rolls for voting in a primary and then switching votes in the general.

Most would not take the trouble to change parities twice.

“Most would not take the trouble to change parities twice.”

My point is - that is true in OPEN primary states as well!

“Texas is much more Conservative than other states. Closed primaries and conservative Secretaries of State are the answer. “

That matters far less than a simple change: GET MORE CONSERVATIVE VOTERS AND LESS LIBERAL VOTERS.

When they get through, I just tell them that we only support candidates, not committees.

When I make a donation, in the space where you have to give them a phone no. I just put my fax machine!

rats! guess since I am not a part of the party any more I won't get my opportunity to rant! drat!

so glad you carried through on your word and posted this on FR. perhaps they would learn how to carry through on their word...oh! wait a minute! which one? the first time, when they say they will support a genuine conservative? or the second time they give their word, when they ditch the candidate?....kinda hard to know which when they talk outa both sides of their mouth.

don't stop ranting on my account! I will stand by and applaud and throw in my own pitches!!

Chin up to you and the other very fine citizens here. Despite the solidarity of evil between the established parties we have righteousness and faith in God on our side. They can beat us down badly but they’ll never beat Him.

And I know where I want to be when everything’s anted up.

It is time to stop ranting at the RNC phone operators. They don’t have the ability to truly rely our disgust with the RNC.

It is time for formalized petitions to the RNC at both your local, state, and federal level.

Stop the ranting, foot stomping, and republican whine...

We’ve denied them money (recall they were complaining last election cycle about lack of funds)
We’ve ranted at the phone bank operators
We’ve now held an actual nationwide protest

Let’s formalize it and petition them on every level of the system. Other wise they will be eating our cheese with every glass of whine we give them.

“It is time to stop ranting at the RNC phone operators. They don’t have the ability to truly rely our disgust with the RNC.”

True. Well past time for that. It’s soooo 2006. 64 million Americans voted a socialist for President. Get with the program folks and stop blaming the RNC for the fact that so many voters would do that. it’s crying over the spilt milk of past GOP mistakes - now we have an obamanation on our hands. Either you man the battlements or go AWOL. We have a bigger fight on our hands.

“It is time for formalized petitions to the RNC at both your local, state, and federal level.”

To do what though? The funny thing is that the RNC committeeman are mostly good conservatives. You will be petitioning them to do things THEY want done. Did it ever occur to y’all that we cant get it done because in most cases the VOTERS cant support it. I mean, if any of the platform was popular the politicians would be on it like white on rice. The party platforms in many states, especially in Texas, are very conservative documents, that line up with the grassroots.

Media bias works to suppress support for our ideals and to sour all of us on our own conservative leaders - “divide and conquer”.

There is one and only one way to change how public officials behave: Change who they are or frighten them with unemployment.

That means kicking unacceptable Republicans out in primary elections and replacing them with good candidates. SO IDENTIFY THE CANDIDATES TO REPLACE THEM AND WORK TO GET THEM ELECTED.

As of now, the GOP is the minority party. Kicking the minority party in the shins and ranting at phone operators will do nothing to end the Democrat party’s dominance. If the conservative GOP is a minority GOP it will watch on the sidelines as the Democrat majority implements Obama’s socialist agenda. That’s where part two comes in: SUPPORT CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATES TO TAKE ON DEMOCRATS AND END THE DEMOCRAT MAJORITY IN CONGRESS.

“When individual voters from a congressman’s district, calls or writes his office, he pays attention.”

That’s true, and makes complete sense.
However, SOA didn’t initiate the call.

Too, the RNC is a separate entity altogether.
They were calling to solicit funds, and shouldn’t be surprised hearing from someone who isn’t happy.

During the illegal immigration debate, they heard from a lot of folks who were unhappy.
In fact, they ended up shutting down their phone bank.

Folks weren’t contributing, and that’s the way to get their attention.

BTW, don’t you think the RNC is interested in what people think?

My very good friend in a suburb of Cleve, Oh ran as a staunch Rep for the primaries for Law director...He lost by only 700 votes.
The Rep party told him they would help with sending out letters, postcards and sending email.

HA! What a joke, I heard they never came through! He ended up trying to send the postcards out himself and LATER found out the Party could have done WAY cheaper had they helped with the mailing! and forget about the emails, never happened. the party hardly returned his calls when he had questions about the basic process.

The Dem that won had 14000 “absentee “votes...What a disaster the Party was for him!

Ok, you got me started! How the F...are we supposed to win elections when the local Rep party is soooo disorganized.

Obozo won because of a terrific GRASSROOTS EFFORT!!

We have NOTHING when it comes to grassroots. I have NEVER GOTTEN AN EMAIL from my local party!
I am sooo disgusted! And why are we not attacking and dismantling ACORN? what the heck is it good for if we have great policies and even a terrific candidate, if the Left STEALS the elections!!!??
