This has to be an opportunist looking for a easy award using the legal system as a get rich quick venture. He was not suffering from a discriminatory practice. He was using our legal system which has deteriorated to an injustice system.

I once had to design a website to be used by government mechanics to get info to trouble shoot their machinery, which include motors, belts, pulleys, and lots of dangerous high voltage.

The government representative told me that the website had to usable by blind people. I said "but there's no way a blind person can be a repair mechanic for the machinery." He countered with "maybe if more tools for the blind were available, a blind person could be a mechanic."

I didn't even get want to point out that the machinery primarly used LIGHTS of different colors to indicate its state, and whether the high voltage system was charged or not.

He has no chance. Hooters can discriminate based on the uniqueness of their business.

I think Hooters should have hired the slug as a "waitress", paid him less than minimum wage since they primarily work for tips, and then given customers the choice of which waitress would serve them. I doubt that he would have stayed even one full day with nothing to do and no excuse for a frivolous lawsuit. It's a shame that our court system supports frivolous lawsuits so it has to be worked around, but at least this strategy would allow Hooters to protect their business model without paying blackmail.

Well after all, if a man has the right to sue a business that hires female-only employees then a woman has the right to sue a company that hires male-only employees.

As a Christian, I have no desire to see either of these businesses prosper. As a conservative, I think I would enjoy sitting back and watching the egalitarianism-on-steroids wing of the left battle the adult explotation business wing of the left for which side is the more truly liberal.

I’ve been to a Hooters and I think it’s all over rated. There were some families there with kids ...it has since closed ....
