Agree, and responded as you did to the original poster re Cheney v. Bush getting this whole story.

Bush is sitting in Texas (OK by me — he deserves some rest) but Cheney is out there swinging — and good for him! He has absolutely nothing to lose whatsoever, he’s aging and his health isn’t great — I believe he is writing a book (?) — I think he couldn’t wait for this opportunity to let fly with truths all around. He is one tough mean SOB!!! I love him!

Ditto! ... He is the adult that we do not have in the WH or even the entire current administration. And leaky Leahy is about to roll the affiramtive action poseur-in-chief in order to throw raw meat to the dangerous looney left who actually want the U.S. to be weaker, an also ran on the world stage! O bow ma is the greatest danger to this nation we've faced since Carter. And one could make the case that he's even more dangerous because the terrorists have extensive networks and funding now that they didn't have when Carter prostrated US before the Iranian Islamic maniacs.

It is not reassuring when a fool like Mort Kondrake calls for a 911 like commission to deal with what the presdient has decided to use as cover for his marxist destruction of this nation. The fix is in and the diversions are going to come faster and more insipedly as this bastard boy in the White HOuse and his dead fish prickery dig in to play their destructive ploys.

Since ‘00, Cheney has gotten to play and (I believe) thoroughly enjoy being the ‘bad cop.’ It’s the way it’s done, and why he probably selected himself as Bush’s VP ... get an underling to do your dirty work .. the job gets done, your hands stay clean.

I can’t imagine Cheney is out there without Bush cheering him on. History remembers little more than VP’s names (if that) .. but presidents’ names are etched in history. Cheney is way more clever than those who attack him. It’s great sport to watch.
