President-elect Barack Obama's newly appointed chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, served on the board of directors of the federal mortgage firm Freddie Mac at a time when scandal was brewing at the troubled agency and the board failed to spot "red flags," according to government reports reviewed by ABCNews.com.

Obama just happened to select as his chief of staff the guy who was in charge of Freddie at the height of the scandal. They are trying to contain what is probably a huge scandal by carefully and strategically placing certain people in high places in the administration. We’ll never find out anything until Republicans start demanding investigations.
