Interesting. Do we know anything about the US attorney in Virginia? His name is Dana J. Boente (I think). I do not trust Cuomo(NY)....but hopefully this guy has the goods. With Holder in charge, it will all be sweep under the rug.

Bill Mims was elected Attorney General of Virginia by the General Assembly in February 2009. His term will end in January 2010. In this position, he is responsible for the Office of the Attorney General and its 300 attorneys and staff.
Bill Mims served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 1992-1997, and in the Virginia Senate from 1998 to 2005. He was Chief Deputy Attorney General from January 2006 until February 2009.
Bill Mims grew up in Harrisonburg, and was educated in the Harrisonburg public schools. He received a degree in History from the College of William and Mary, where he was president of the student body. He also did graduate work in Public Administration at William and Mary. He has law degrees from George Washington University and Georgetown University.
During his years in the General Assembly, Bill Mims worked as an attorney in Leesburg. Prior to practicing law he served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf and as Deputy Legislative Director to Senator Paul Trible. He served on the Board of Governors of the Virginia Bar Association from 2002 through 2004, and was a Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Law at George Mason University from 2002 through 2005. He presently serves on three non-profit boards Lead Virginia, the Richmond Behavioral Health Authority and Voices for Virginias Children.
Bill Mims lives in Henrico County with his wife Jane, and three daughters. They attend Third Presbyterian Church.

Dana BoenteDana J. Boente serves as Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. The United States Attorney’s Office, with offices in Alexandria, Richmond, Newport News, and Norfolk, is comprised of more than 125 attorneys and support staff, and has jurisdiction over 4.7 million residents. As Acting United States Attorney, Mr. Boente supervises the prosecution of all federal crimes, and the litigation of civil matters in which the federal government has an interest
Mr. Boente is a twenty-four year veteran of the Department of Justice. Before serving as Acting United States Attorney, Mr. Boente prosecuted fraud cases as an Assistant United States Attorney in federal court. He was selected as the First Assistant United States Attorney in June of 2007. He has previously served as the Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General and as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice’s Tax Division.
He is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Law. From 1982 to 1984, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable J. Waldo Ackerman, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
