How many times have we heard this the last few years?
I would see your point better if it was talking about some other nation, but not Israel. They have stepped up at least twice before to foil their enemies' nuclear ambitions (Syria, Iraq). They have a history of acting on what they intend to do.

For what it's worth, Israel certainly has a better record of destroying the WMDs of its enemies than we do. I hope our strategists are taking notes!
