I will be working the rest of my life to pay into federal entitlement Ponzi schemes that send out checks to everyone regardless of backgrounds: veterans, hippies, illegal aliens, and everyone else who can fill out a few forms.

The level of your ignorance is astounding, proved by the fact that you lump vets into the above list. Military veterans, unless they have reached retirement age, are only entitled to treatment for injuries or conditions sustained during their service, and that is the very least they deserve for volunteering to stand in harms way for people like yourself.

They are the only segment of our society that deserve most of what we give away to, as you put it, "...everyone else who can fill out a few forms."

It is the only segment of our society that has "earned" what they are receiving, usually in less measure than those who have not. You need to learn to differentiate properly between a legitimate "debt" and a "handout". No one here agrees to handouts, but we do believe in honoring debts.
