Growing up on a Farm I know firsthand this is true.
The Gal with the chimp, the gal who did the polar bear swimming, any other person who gets themselves hurt by animals due to ignorance on their part must not have grown up on a farm.
Indeed. The whole problem with the "Animal Rights" movement is that modern man grows up mostly in an urban/suburban environment which deprives him of real knowledge of brute animals. Our only knowledge of animals is with our pet cats and dogs which we anthropomorphize. As a society we have lost the knowledge of the impassable chasm between man and the animals.
