Virginia Tech Remembrance Ping.
We remember too, thanks for the reminder.
Remembering is fine. But rather than the slaughter alone, you should also remember that had any of the V Tech students been armed, a number of the murders might have been averted.
I don’t disagree with you, but there are 364 other days in the year to be an activist.
Watching as I did, my son, an intern in my office and others agonize through that day trying to reach friends I have no problem pausing to remember the senseless loss and the pain I watched them endure.
To everything there is a season.
I went walking today with 4,000 other Hokies.

We began the event by engaging in a mass littering with balloons while being watched by snipers on Schultz Dining Hall.
Thanks for the thread. It was good to be in Blacksburg for Easter weekend and spend time with the wonderful students who attend there. Last year I took the day off to be on campus on the first anniversary. This year, since my son and other aerospace students drove to Tucson to be a part of Ratheon’s design, build, fly competition this week; I paid my respects on Easter Sunday. Norris Hall opened early I guess to be available today.
One morning I listened to an NPR interview of the author of the new book, “No Right to Remain Silent”. From a psychological point of view it was interesting to hear her insights since she had worked with the shooter. Apart from that, the students I spoke with do not harbor any ill will toward anyone at Virginia Tech for what happened as she seems to.
