Obama Finally Tells the Truth (If you can read between the lines)

From his speech today about taxes:

We're also doing away with the unnecessary giveaways that have thrown our tax code out of balance. I said this during the campaign, I'm now saying it as President: We need to stop giving tax breaks to companies that stash profits or ship jobs overseas so we can invest in job creation here at home. And we need to end the tax breaks for the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans, so that people like me, who are extraordinarily lucky, are paying the same rates that the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans paid when Bill Clinton was President.

Read the speech here.

I don't mean the truth that he wants to soak the rich. We all know that. I am talking about his use of the phrase "extraordinarily lucky" in describing himself.

Yes, he has been "extraordinarily lucky" as a politician. He is lucky that a majority didn't see through his ruse. He has been, as someone seeking employment, "extraordinarily lucky". He has had jobs handed to him with and been promoted with no visible record of success.

He was "extraordinarily lucky" when someone paid his way through school.

What he's really telling us though, is that he's never had to work for his success. He's had everything handed to him. He's been treated with kid gloves his whole life and doesn't understand the meaning of hard work. He is incapable of differentiating between self made success and luck.

This is why he can look on people who HAVE worked hard all their lives and been successful with disdain. This is why he can look Americans in the eye and tell them that they didn't earn their sueccess - they were just lucky. He doesn't know any otheer war. He thinks all of them have been "extraordinarily lucky" too. Therefore, he feels that the benefactors of "luck" should be willing to share their luck. Even if it's at the point of a sword, so to speak.

So, for all of you that have worked hard and have done the right things to earn your wealth, remember. It's only because you have been "extraordinarily lucky" and you should be willing to spread your luck to the unlucky.

What he's really doing, too, is telling us that he is not a success. That he knows deep inside that he's really somewhat of a failure because he sees his position, not as a pinnacle of success but rather a result of happenstance.

He's telling us that his success is a lie. That he doesn't even see himself as successful - just "extraordinarily lucky".

Obama also said he was going to ‘simplify’ the tax code. TRANSLATION: ALL OF OUR MONEY WILL BELONG TO HIM! IT’S JUST THAT SIMPLE....LOL!!

I did a simple calculation today to check how much extra money the government will get by bring the highest income bracket currently at 35% to 39.5% the rate where it was under Clinton.

In 2007 the government revenues from income taxes were 1.1 trillion dollars. In 2008 the government will get similar will be in 2008 in tax revenues if not less due to the severe recssion. The top tax bracket accounted for 40% of the total tax revenues to a total of $ 440 billions.

Now when Obama raises the top tax bracket from 35% to 39.5% then the new highest bracket will contribute $ 497 billions in taxes. In other word this will only amount to an increase of $ 57 billions in tax revenues which is extremely little to pay for the extra 4 trillions dollars that Obama and his socialist are spending and will spend for the next few years.

To conclude Obama is lying and he will increase the taxes much more than they were under Clinton and possibly before what they were before President Reagan tax cuts and the tax increase will apply to almost all tax brackets and will be imposed on all tax payers and not just the top 2% of wage earners.

The top bracket will go from 35% to an insane 70% in my estimations. All other brackets will go by at least 10 percentage point.

It will be a disaster beyond belief.

Based on the Sacramento Tea Party and the mood of the people, Zero, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the US Congress is in deep manure.

Only a feudal lord would dare argue that the fruits of the labor of the peasants belongs rightfully to him. How does it feel to be considered (and treated) as a serf?
