Anyway, everybody was just glad to be there with like-minded people. I believe that it IS true - conservatives ARE happier people! Even in the worst of times, we know we can rely on our own best instincts and survival skills. We don't need no steenking government to take care of us!
One car with college students yelled "Obama". Big granite truck did a back fire at us, but my husband yelled "Which end did that come out of" It was funny.
Spirits high with love of country and fellow man. All view points represented, but all love Constitution and want our country back. No speakers before we left.
As Samuel Adams said: "It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Samuel Adams
God Bless America and Long Live our Constitution
Hi there!!! First...it trully was wonderful to meet you today...like I said upthread...after all the Q/R Morning threads it was like I knew you forever! It was fun to share this historic afternoon with you, FRiend! Hope SmokeyB stops by...and maybe visits us on “the Q/R thread” Ray, and his friends were interesting to talk to...great being with kindred spirits. Hope to meet the rest of our W. PA crew soon.
Sneakers your pix are awesome!!! The signs were great... Esp.our friend with the flag poncho (and you don’t cut off anyones heads like I do). Anyway, my broadband router isn’t routing, and we are passing my phone around
to read about the day. What great turn outs everywhere!!!
My HS freshman son said TWO of his teachers were talking about the tea parties (we are lucky, somehow we managed to get conservative teachers in our district). My college son (the one who didn’t show up) said one of the univ. Professors said “the nuts have taken over Greensburg.”. Oh well...two out of three educators aren’t bad!
Any news on Rose’s second appearance in Little Washington? I guess if no one posts, we’ll hear in the morning!
