U.S. Embassy Brazzaville issued the following Warden Message on April 14:
At approximately 11 PM on Monday night, an electrical storm set off five rockets in Brazzaville. Press reports have blamed the launch on rebel groups, but all information available to the Embassy indicates that the rockets were set off accidentally by a lightning strike. No injuries have been reported. The Embassy continues to closely monitor the situation and will send out more information as it becomes available.
The U.S. Embassy is located on Boulevard Maya-Maya across from the Blanche Gomez Hospital. The Consular Section can be reached at +242 612-2046 during business hours or at +242 444-0013 for after-hours emergencies.

I hate it when that happens.
Thanks for the note.
You’re welcome Jet Jaguar.
Thinking of the movie “The In-Laws” right now.
I can picture rockets going off and the Peter Faulk character says, “Serpentine Sheldon — serpentine.”
WTF? Sounds like a Michael Crichton novel.
