From a 1939 book called “The VAMPIRE ECONOMY-Doing Business Under Fascism” written by a German.

“You have no idea how far state control goes and how much power the Nazi representatives have over our work. The worst of it is that they are so ignorant. These Nazi radicals think of nothing except ‘distributing the wealth.’ Some businessmen have even started studying Marxist theories, so that they will have a better understanding of the present economic system.

“While state representatives are busily engaged in investigating and interfering, our agents and salesmen are handicapped because they never know whether or not a sale at a higher price will mean denunciation as a ‘profiteer’ or ‘saboteur,’ followed by a prison sentence. You cannot imagine how taxation has increased. Yet everyone is afraid to complain.

Everywhere there is a growing undercurrent of bitterness. Everyone has his doubts about the system, unless he is very young, very stupid, or is bound to it by the privileges he enjoys.

Former GM CEO Rick Wagoner donated to John McCain and George Bush’s campaigns.

Does anyone doubt the next CEO has not donated or was not generous enough to the Obama campaign and/or agenda?

Here’s a novel idea. How about they just say, “I don’t think I’ll let you fire me today”. What’s nObama going to do, have a hissy fit.

Right on! I’ve been praying that someone would have the guts to call Obama on this and force a showdown in the courts as to the constitutionality of all of the bail out crap. Just because it passes Congress doesn’t make it legitimate until it has passed constitutional muster in the courts.

One does have to wonder why the board of directors for some of these banks haven’t fired the ones who are under-performing.

Redistributing wealth and Nazism. Like fever and infection.

I'm with you. The cannon that was the object of the first battle of the Texas revolution was buried in my ancestors' peach orchard in Gonzales.

You are assuming that we have an opposition party in this country worth of the name. At present, I am sad to say, we do not. I believe very strongly that in time, we will.
