Boehner was part of the problem. Bakersfield should take a look at his earmark list before he’s allowed to speak there.

I’m saddened to hear this about any of the TEA Parties. If elected officials choose to attend a TEA Party, IMO, they should be there to listen, not talk.
It’s OUR turn to talk.
But, whatever.

this should not be hijacked by just republicans, we need Dem faces there too other wise this plays into the medias hands of just being a republican event
Boehner and others need to stay away unless they bring a Dem with them

Here's Boehner, planning to support the grassroots movement against high taxes and big overbearing intrusive socialist government, but let's turn him away because he may have requested earmarks just like everyone else. That's the kind of thinking that got us the Obambi and a democrat-controlled clown congress.

I suggest we BREW the tea, DRINK it and if any politicians show up, throw THEM into the water...

House Repubs voted 100% AGAINST the stimulus and BUDGET.
I would say Boehner deserves some credit for this very good action.

“Its OUR turn to talk.”
Agreed!!!
Besides, why is Boehner going all the way to California?

Why? He’s one of those who led the charge into this mess.

NO politician of any party should be allowed to speak at these events.
They will try to take credit for the rallies instead of taking the blame for the mess that inspired them.

IIRC, Boehner is one of the few members of congress who has never taken any earmark money.

So you don’t agree that this is suppose to be a bipartisan effort by the people?

I think we should tar and feather Boehner, and make him a real example. His presence there makes a mockery of the Tea Party.
To: 12Gauge687
Bakersfield should take a look at his earmark list before hes allowed to speak there. If that's the criteria than you'll all be hearing from him. The man hasn't taken a dime in earmarks since being elected.
In any event he should be a spectator and not make this a partisan event, which is precisely what the MSM is saying it is.

Why?
He voted no on bailouts and the budget and has never taken an earmark.
Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
