When Rush said something similar with regard to leaving NY, the idiotic Governor said he was glad and would have raised taxes sooner if he got rid of Rush.

The reason Rush got audited every year despite "living" in Florida, is that he OWNS a condo here. Naturally the kids in Albany will assume anyone OWNING a $5,000,000 place here LIVES in it.

Trump is scared sh!tless that rich folks who keep NYC apartments as landing pads for visits will sell, depressing his holdings' value. He's dead right about this.

I really, honestly LOVE New York. I have a hard time imagining living anywhere else. BUT I will NOT be enslaved by the thieves in Albany, and will leave rather than be yoked by those turds.

I’ve never understood why anyone takes Trump seriously on any business related topics.

How do you bankrupt your own casino twice?

Remember, we dubbed Ivanka Trump the poster child for the PUMAs, originally liked Hilldog, then got behind McCain/Palin..

He bankrupts yet keeps going, sometimes you have to learn based on what people do wrong, not just right. With all his failures, he has had ten times as many successes.

With Trump’s recognition, though, he’s an excellent person to make his point.

>He must be kidding. Every state in the U.S. with an income tax probably does this.

Don't be dense. - That is exactly the reason why the demographics are changing so radically out of those states and into other states unlike them.

Are you aware that Florida's population is now larger than NY?
and it isn't all immigration, thats for sure, because tons of immigrant go North for the social handouts that simply do not exist there.

Which makes the taxes in those states get higher yet
See the picture?

Smart move. If he needs to go to NYC, he can just rent a place for a few days.

He must be kidding. Every state in the U.S. with an income tax probably does this. People who commute to New York City from New Jersey and Pennsylvania have been doing this for years.

My understanding is that they pay on money they made in the state and not on money made out of the state. There was a fierce legal battle between NH and Maine a few years back because Maine wanted to tax a family's total income even if some of that income came from a spouse and was earned in NH.

So Trump should move to Florida, where the Kennedys go to die for lower taxes

You can't be said to be pulling a John Galt unless you actually produce something.

Trump is just another AufgeblasenBlutegelBourgeoieseBurokraten.

WHAT would the Trump Tower be without the Trump? Or New York without The Donald, for that matter?

I think it would be a distinct improvement, considering how many times Trump has screwed over his creditors by having one of his outfits declare bankruptcy.

NYC is so bad, especially against the top 1%, they try to go after everything. If you happen to be in Kansas, but your secretary in NYC routes a call to you for a business call, they try to go after that time, even if you are working in another State. They have gotten to the point of even auditing your purchases out of state to ensure they are getting every drop of your sales tax. If you buy a car in Pennsylvania, they try to get NY sales tax out of you as well if your residence in there.

This is how they treat the top 1%, imagine what will happen once they squeeze all the dollars out of them. Then they will do it to the top 10%, then the top 20%, then half the city will be employed auditing the other half.

so long as when they move they do not move down here and carry on voting for the Dem party

That's been our problem of late.

Even though the PUMAs may have been a GOP fantasy in that it didn’t faze Hussein, she can come sit beside me anyday. :^)

"When Rush said something similar with regard to leaving NY, the idiotic Governor said he was glad and would have raised taxes sooner if he got rid of Rush.

This shows the absolute stupidity of the left. When Limbaugh left NYC for greener pastures in FL, I wonder how much money that cost NYC. If I had to guess, I'd wager it was someplace between $2-3 million in annual tax revenues. How many cops does $2-3 million pay for?
