ANKARA (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Monday the United States strongly supported the aim of setting up a Palestinian state living "side by side" and at peace with Israel.

"We know that the road ahead will be difficult. Both Israelis and Palestinians must take the steps that are necessary to build confidence," he said.

Something tells me, Obama will expect the Israelis to take MORE steps than the Palestinians. Just a guess.

I try not to criticize the US president (even though, in the famous libtard phrase, 'he's not MY president'); Having said that, I worry for our country when he makes statements like this.

A president, any president, must be able to makes a clear distinction between what he feels about certain subjects and the way the USA citizens do.

Clearly, he does not have a clue, or pretends not to.
That does not bode well for his remaining 4 years and 8 months in office.

Coupled with BO’s statement that we are not at war with Islam, and his bowing to the Saudi King, I suspect that he should have said HE is not at war with Islam and is against the Jews.

But then, he is on the other side isn't he?
