ANKARA (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Monday the United States strongly supported the aim of setting up a Palestinian state living "side by side" and at peace with Israel.

Something tells me, Obama will expect the Israelis to take MORE steps than the Palestinians. Just a guess.
What ever happened to the idea that if a people want statehood, they must prove that they have earned it?
“the idea that if a people want statehood, they must prove that they have earned it”
There never was an idea like that, TBH. Statehood is always taken, never given. The whole concept is ridiculous.
Barack Obama is absolutely clueless is he really believes that the Palestinians would be willing to leave peacefully on a side by side basis with Israel.
Clueless in Ankara. 0bama should watch a little Pali kiddie TV Saturday cartoons to get a different view than his egghead advisors. ‘Sides the Pali “victims” are kept that way by the rest of the Arabs. Makes hating Israel easier...
“Obama reiterates U.S. support for Palestinian state”
He should speak for himself.
Yeah and I bet Obama will be funding “restoration” camps in Palestine, “vacation resorts” with showers....
Does anybody even care much about our future anymore? or the future of our allies?
Coincidence?
I try not to criticize the US president (even though, in the famous libtard phrase, 'he's not MY president'); Having said that, I worry for our country when he makes statements like this.
A president, any president, must be able to makes a clear distinction between what he feels about certain subjects and the way the USA citizens do.
Clearly, he does not have a clue, or pretends not to.
That does not bode well for his remaining 4 years and 8 months in office.
Just sayin.
But then, he is on the other side isn't he?
