Hollywood’s Nazi Comfort Zone

Why rock the boat and speak out about a threat to the world that is in many ways worse that the Nazis? After all, Hollywood is tied at the hip with an administration in Washington that doesn’t have to stand up to evil when they can throw money at it that the U.S. has to borrow. That kind of thing worked so well with Yasser Arafat, don’t you know. He only stole a billion dollars from the Palestinian Authority.

Hollywood’s Nazi Comfort Zone by Skip Press

Dan Gordon has a play going up on Broadway called “Irena’s Vow” based on the true story of a Polish housekeeper for a German major who secretly protected and fed twelve Jewish refugees. Hollywood Reporter columnist Martin A. Grove wrote, “There’s already talk that ‘Irena’ will be a contender for Best Play when this year’s Tony nominations are announced in May.” Grove also stated that a movie’s coming.

I remember Dan telling me about the project in 2001 at a Hollywood pitch event where I was also a speaker. Then, it was a screenplay that he was certain was going into production soon. That’s Hollywood.

Maybe it will be a movie. Hollywood loves Nazi stories so much I call it their “Nazi comfort zone.” Nazis are almost as popular as vampires in Tinseltown. I’m looking forward to the movie Iron Sky about Nazi UFOs but it isn’t Hollywood. The filmmakers are Finns, and it’s a comedy.

Quentin Tarantino’s next film, Inglorious Basterds with Brad Pitt, is a World War II Nazi-themed movie about a group of Jewish-American soldiers that scalp and brutally kill Nazis. Hey, at least it’s a new twist.

2008 gave us many Nazi-themed movies, including The Reader, for which Kate Winslet won an Academy Award playing a concentration camp guard who had an affair with a 15 year-old boy. Hollywood actresses love movies about affairs with 15 year-old boys (Tadpole, anyone?). So do, no doubt, copycat felonious female high school teachers across the United States. The Reader posed the pressing question, “Gee, she was so good to this teenager half her age when she was screwing him, how could she also be evil?”

Personally, I wonder why Hollywood doesn’t make movies about the current Nazis, those crazy Jihadis who are cutting off heads, blowing up women and children, and trying to destroy Western civilization? Films like A Mighty Heart (the Daniel Pearl death story) are an anomaly. Doesn’t anyone in Hollywood see the similarities, or know history? Aren’t there any stories out there featuring female Muslim teachers seducing teenage boys?

Let’s review. The totalitarian National Socialists, a radical left-wing group headed by elected leader Adolf Hitler, tried to kill every Jew on Earth. They had the same aim as modern day Hamas, an organization that has killing all the Jews as the #1 tenet of its Charter:

“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.” (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory).

So why did the Obama administration, in one of its first international moves via Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, pledge $900 million to Hamas?

You’d think that a White House with Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, son of a member of the militant Zionist group Irgun that fought in Palestine during World War II, who himself volunteered as a mechanic in northern Israel during the first Gulf War, would object. You’d think Rahm would urge his brother Ari Emanuel, head of the powerful Endeavor agency in Los Angeles, to get a movie made about Hamas and/or Muslim villainy.

$900 million to Hamas? Gee, that could make people really question the Obama administration’s supposed support of Israel. When Obama called Netanyahu to congratulate him on becoming Prime Minister of Israel, what did he do, joke “Hey, $900 million is nothing these days!”

Why doesn’t Hollywood make a movie about the conspiracy between the Nazis and Haj Muhammud Amin el-Husseini, the leader of the Palestinian Arabs and Grand Mufti of Jerusalem in North Africa and the Middle East during the Holocaust? Broadcasting from Berlin in March 1944, the Mufti urged the Arabs to, “Kill the Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history and religion.”

After all, the Nazis attempted to ship arms to Palestinians in the 1930s so they could kill Jews. As reported by Little Green Footballs in “The Nazi-Arab Connection”:

A British Foreign Office report from 1939 reports of “news of a consignment of arms from Germany, sent via Turkey and addressed to Ibn Saud (king of Saudi Arabia), but really intended for the Palestine insurgents.” Britain’s chief military officer in Mandatory Palestine also noted reports “regarding import of German arms at intervals for some years now.”

Hmmm. The House of Saud. Those “friends” of the U.S. that fund schools with textbooks that depict Jews as monkeys and Christians as pigs? Saudi Arabia where you get arrested if you possess a Bible or wear a cross? Guess there’s no movie story there. Nothing Tom Hanks or Ron Howard would want to make, anyway. Why, that’s just not as interesting as a made-up fight between the Illuminati and the Catholic Church about “the holiest event of our time,” is it?

Why rock the boat and speak out about a threat to the world that is in many ways worse that the Nazis? After all, Hollywood is tied at the hip with an administration in Washington that doesn’t have to stand up to evil when they can throw money at it that the U.S. has to borrow. That kind of thing worked so well with Yasser Arafat, don’t you know. He only stole a billion dollars from the Palestinian Authority.

Hollywood folks are funny. On November 9, 2001, Mavis Leno, wife of the famous “Tonight Show” host, was interviewed by CNN about the plight of Afghani women under the Taliban. Speaking as the chair of the Feminist Majority Foundation’s Campaign to Stop Gender Apartheid in Afghanistan, she’d been fighting to bring the abuse to light since February of 1997. Ten days later, Mavis and husband Jay told “Showbiz Today” they were still fighting the good fight, after American troops drove the Taliban out of Afghanistan.

You never heard Mavis say much in support of soldiers under the Bush administration beating the Taliban, did you? No, because Islamic terrorists threatened her life. (I got this from a source that knows.) And God bless her, there’s an example of why Hollywood won’t take on the crazy Muslims, and remains content with Nazi villains.

It’s a comfort zone. If they make movies with Nazi villains, it’s fairly certain that Nazis won’t show up and try to kill them.

But hey, occasionally Hollywood will boldly speak out about those they think are modern-day Nazis. It wasn’t that long ago that I saw someone in a Nazi uniform wearing a McCain/Palin button. It was Stewie Griffin on “Family Guy.” Woo-hoo! So brave.

Many Israelis that I have known spoke of how well the Arabs treated them "in the 14th century". Or something like that. Long before the Mandate and the Balfour Declaration, Jews lived under the Caliphate in their usual subservient role: the fact that this was the result of yet another conquest didn't seem to enter their consciousness.

The first people to rebel against the idea were the Zionists, of course. Without the Holocaust, it's an idea that would have gone nowhere, because there never would have been the political will to create a real Israel, and minor terrorist actions conducted by groups like Irgun would have been ultimately irrelevant. The Arabs were far larger in population.

But now Israel exists, but only with the memory of Nazi Germany to buttress it's creation. So that must be kept alive, front and center.

But inside the Zionist Jews themselves is the lingering conceit that they can somehow make an accommodation with the Arabs eventually. It's part of mentality of the minority Jew, always living by their wits in hostile territory, outnumbered wherever they are. A lingering liberalism, if you will.

But it is the seed of death. There can never be a rapproachment with the Muslim Arabs. The new Caliphate would be a thousand times worse than the old, and there would be no Jizya, only extermination.

This they refuse to confront or understand...except perhaps for a few.

They are a people headed for destruction and oblivion because they refuse to see the destructiveness of their own attitudes. The liberalism they unleashed on the United States, done to carve out their own place here, now turns on them in the form of acquiescence to Muslim aggression. But they abandon those attitudes not. Because to do so would de-legitimize their own assertions about the legitimacy of Israel and the forces of societal surrender they unleashed on us.

But if they do not, they will surely disappear. The freak they elected here will sell them to the Wahabiis. And when the cameras are off....the retribution will be swift and sure.

Either the Jews become social and political Conservatives and join forces with the Christian West, or they die.

The memory of the Holocaust can be kept alive without equating it to the entire European genetic line. It can, and must, be seen in the same light as the Great Terror of Stalin and the Communists, with Mao's murdered millions, and other sickening results of the collapse of monarchial statism.

As much as the "Neocons" anger me with much of their liberal hangover traits, the fact is that their movement is just such a nascent survivalist Jewish group. Were they to move further towards the Patriotic Right, embodied by people such as Lawrence Auster, then the state of Israel, the United States, and Europe, would all have a chance to stabilize and resurrect themselves.

Perhaps Dick Cheney did the most to make this happen. But for a variety of reasons, it was too far too fast. And the Neos still have the old missionary zeal: they actually sympathize with the Arab Muslims.

They deserve no sympathy. Their fate was their own concoction.

And so the dreary recant of the horrors of Nazism will continue....until there is no one to recount them. And unfortunately, the fixation on that is exactly what will make that happen.

Had no idea Mavis Leno got beat down like that and cowered under threats from Islamists. These people are scum on this Earth and need to be fought on every level if we want to see anyone having civil rights as we know them.

While having no pity on Hollywood do-gooders searching for a cause to make themselves feel better about themselves I strongly feel we, as a country, must stand against the Islamic Sharia ideals. Women are not property nor tools to be raped at will by a husband she may not have wanted in the first place. I can not understand why liberals are attaching themselves to such a savage cult that literally calls for the extermination of Jews when so may liberals are Jewish.

What is it about “extermination” do Jews don’t understand? Especially after the Holocaust where 6,000,000 were vaporized? Is there a deeply embedded death wish or some other genetic fault?

I get the constant sarcasm but don’t understand it going to the point of actual fatalism. There’s self hate and there’s justifying why God said Jews are His chosen people. At this time of history when Iran is cranking up to exterminate Israel I’d think it a wise move for Israel to stand up and be recognized amongst all nations while the United States, it’s former protector, is dominated by evil.

It’s NOT a “Jewish” thing, but many prominent Hollywood bigs are Jewish and many Hollywood bigs, Jewish and non-Jewish are uber-libs who fell in love with Marxism long ago.

They have a lot of self-guilt, related to ‘the Holocaust’ for domestic and international reasons.

Domestically, they did not raise their own voices and lead any national U.S. movement to either stop the Holocaust or bring Jewish refugees to the U.S., until the very end.

Internationally, their sole-focus on Hitler and his group hides the fact that before the ‘final solution’ was implemented in areas controlled by Germany, Stalin eliminated as many Russian Jews as he could, including any Jew anywhere in or near the Communist Party of Russia, of which there were many, including many in very high places. And where have American socialists and particularly Jewish American socialists been on this issue, then and now? Silent.

It is the socialist mentality that excuses it.

A close family friend of mine made a comment recently which made that mentality very clear.

I was commenting on how Chavez of Venezuela was accumulating dictatorial powers and building a police state. My friend responded: “Well, at least he’s a socialist.”

That’s your answer to why Hollywood treats the “Nazis” differently than how it treats “left wing” butchers (Saddam), thugs (Arafat), and any tyrants that ‘oppose capitalist hegemony’ (Arab ‘nationalists’).

Well said.

And to add to the frustration of the Left's ideals is the visit by an entourage to Iran.

How many gays were beheaded in Iran last month, 12? Doesn't their presence there imply they approve? Of course it does.

And of course, they were used by our enemies for their propaganda machine.

Annette Bening and Alfre Woodard commiserating with Iran? Arf! They need to consult with all the women who had their clitorises sliced off in the name of Allah. I wonder how they would feel if being involuntarily subjected to the same treatment.

They are either blithering idiots, traitors to those who gave their all for freedom or some vague middling between the two. I do recall Bening playing a police consultant betraying America in “The Siege”. How could we know she wasn’t acting but playing on reality?
