The weather forecast for the launch area showed poor conditions for Saturday. North Korea is 14 hours ahead of US East coast time.
The next launch window, for Sunday, opens at 9pm and closes at 2am US eastern time.
Now the funny thing is, for the next consecutive four days representing their stated launch window, there are days when it is clear but winds are the fiercest, maybe even up to 18 km/h or 25 km/h so they cannot risk launching in that weather, and then when the winds come down on other days to a reasonable level, those days become cloudy and even rainy. The bird is on the pad, fully fueled and ready to go, but the weather seems to not be cooperating. One can only hope for The Lord's intervention over the next several days, and then they will have to try to precariously unload the fuel (probably nearly impossible) or just have the thing corrode and/or blow up on the launch pad.
A guy can dream, hope and pray, can't he??!!
I doubt they’ll launch on Sunday. Just a hunch.
