This is an absolutely jaw-dropping display of dumbassness on the part of the jury! Total Dumbasses! I guess they thought it was cute to award him $1, but this opens the door to reinstatement, an award of attorney's fees, and maybe even back pay. After all, how can you be "wrongfully terminated" and not suffer lost wages?

As far as I know, Churchill didn't even bother to deny he was a faker, a liar, and an academic plagerist. He just said, "They didn't fire me for all that-- it was the essay" and these idiots went for it. Morons!

The problem with the $1 award is that he can appeal it to either a "Master" of the Court who can adjudicate an appeal hearing on damages, or he can appeal the award to a higher court.

I bet he will do so, and walk away with a cool mil.

He should stay fired.
