PALM BEACH, Fla. – Federal authorities seized disgraced financier Bernard Madoff's Palm Beach mansion, his vintage yacht and a smaller boat Wednesday, part of an effort to recoup assets to pay back investors he swindled. Barry Golden, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service, said about five marshals arrived at the 8,753-square-foot, five-bedroom mansion late Wednesday afternoon, hours after the boats were seized.

I’ll be honest here. I could care less about the Madoff scandel. You had a bunch of humans thinking they had it better as far as the market goes. They got took for a ride based on their love of money. Reading the good book should be their next venture.

Something's wrong. The Madoff yacht seized here in Florida is described as a vintage 55-foot yacht named "Bull," a 1969 Rybovich, worth $2.2 million.

Oh. Just read Madoff had 4 yachts. I guess that explains that.

When will the Feds seize Treasury Secretary Geitner’s assets, Charlie Rangel’s Caribbean retreat and Tom Daschle’s mansion for their tax dodging?

Madoff’s assets wont even pay for the Feds overtime, just a thought.

I’d imagine that obuma’s supporters should be along any minute to rip out the copper plumbing, the sinks, the faucets, the toilets, the windows, the lightbulbs, the garage doors, the weather vane, the floors and the rugs.

More ‘shovel ready’ jobs, via 0bama! Or is that ‘Viva, Obama!’? *SPIT*

(I don’t care about Madoff’s losses, either.)

Registered in George Town, Cayman Islands .

1. Vessels flagged in the Cayman Islands fly the Red Ensign flag and, as British ships, come under the protection of the British Royal Navy. Full British Consular services and Royal Naval assistance and protection for Cayman-flagged vessels are available worldwide.

Thanks. We see a lot of those during the year here in Annapolis, Maryland.

There are probably other reasons like cost etc. for this registry.
