Guadalajara, Mexico, Mar 30, 2009 (CNA) -- The legislature of the Mexican state of Jalisco has approved a change to the states constitution so that it protects the right to life of the unborn from the moment of conception.
Representatives of one of the most important state legislatures in Mexico modified article 228 of the state constitution. Javier Guizar Macias of the PRI party said, Instead of incarcerating someone who undergoes abortion the reform stipulates giving the person medical care, psychological counseling, so that she can reflect on the issue.
The measure passed by a vote of 31-0. with 2 abstentions.
The action makes Jalisco the sixth of Mexicos 31 states to move to protect life in the wake of the legalization of abortion in Mexico City and a Supreme Court decision finding the action did not violate the federal constitution.

This is very encouraging. Planned Parenthood and the foundation-funded “Catholics for a Free Choice” are all over Mexico and really put a lot of pressure on Mexican women and Mexican society to accept abortion.
I frequent a local Mexican restaurant that features traditional Mexican food. Their “Fajita Jalisco” is fantastic, Jalisco being the area where the family originated.
Anywhere here is an area of the world that apprently has a proper respect for human life. Great to hear it. Shame on liberal Democrats and their death culture.
Anywhere = Anyway
