Benjamin Netanyahu may have pulled off quite a feat in striking a Likud-Labor alliance, but don’t think that he’s completely mellowed. Before he took the oath of office as Prime Minister, Bibi told Barack Obama that the US had two missions — fixing the economy and preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons. Netanyahu also warned Obama that Israel would accomplish the second mission if the new President wasn’t up to the task:

I am in the United States. and I don’t think I know anymore than you do. Obama’s Israeli policy seems to be a mystery. i.e...perhaps he doesn’t want to be upfront about his true feelings.

Nope, you’re not wrong. I think Obama would publicly disagree with Israel’s actions, loudly claim they are doing the exact opposite as is needed for peace, and aggressively seek to pacify the Muslim world.
As I’m from the UK, I’m too far removed for a solid perspective, but from what I’ve seen so far, I don’t feel Israel carries any more weight with Obama and his clan, as, say, ‘Any Other’ African or Asian Country.
This is only my opinion. Israel is our only ally in the Middle East. Also, most of our nation believes in God (contrary to what you read/hear in the newspaper) and it would be a death knell for Obama and friends if he sided against Israel. Personally, I would like to see BiBi kick some radical @ss and take names!

BO’ Israel policies are no secret. Study up on his relationships with Rashid Khalidi, Jeremiah Wright, Screwy Louie,et al. Don’t forget the lavish party for Khalidi when he was set to replace Edward Said & BO heaped praise upon him. LAT has the video, they spiked it but did a puff piece earlier in the year.
