When I criticize my mom about the way she raised my baby brother, who is 18 years younger than I, she tells me, “If you’re not a liberal when you’re young, you have no heart. If you’re a liberal when you’re old, you have no brain.”
Question is, “Is he still young enough to wisen up?”

He married a liberal. So I doubt it. Yet, maybe his rearing will rise up.

The critical date was the SOTU address. That is “The Day” in D.C., and that is the day on which we can cause the most disruption in D.C. and around the country. And we have to keep the pressure on, because this President and Congress will continue to drive this train off a cliff if left to their own insane devices.
We will be at the Tea Parties, but what happens after we go home? Probably nothing. And that is why we need to take the political battle to D.C. - that is where the beast lives, and that is where the beast needs to be confronted. Use the tea parties as a jumping-off point, then culminate them in D.C. so we can Push Back Until...!
Don't worry, going to get there. This is a gradient process. It's growing.
You wouldn't want us to try to march on Washington right now. The movement simply isn't big enough yet to deliver the crushing force necessary to force the leftist traitors to step down.
No - when we get to DC, we want this thing to be so big, that millions of angry Americans descend on the Capitol, ready to remove Pelosi, Reid, and Obama by force, if necessary.
We want them to understand that IT IS OVER. IT IS TIME TO LEAVE - NOW. THE PEOPLE DEMAND IT - AND WILL HAVE IT - OR ELSE.

I totally agree with taking our inspiration from great people of history, like Winston Churchill. He had the same sense of the fight for freedom as our Founders, and was of equal rank to them, in my estimation.
As far as the tea parties not working, I beg to differ. In all my life, I have never seen so many conservative people get so fired up and ready for a fight as now. Attending these peaceful (and growing) protests is just what the doctor ordered for us, because as you correctly indicated, nothing else we're doing is having any effect.
What everyone should keep in mind, is that these protests have only just begun. They're growing in size and number, rapidly. By mid-summer, you will see these things becoming gigantic in scope, and held in an increasing number of cities, large and small.
The good folks of America have their backs against a wall, and this is about the only real outlet they have to show their anger with the administration and Congress. It's a natural reaction to the government's transgressions against us.
These sort of movements always grow in direct proportion to the oppression being waged against the people. Give it some time to grow. It needs to become an unstoppable juggernaut before it reaches Washington DC, if we're to accomplish our aims, and it will.
You are correct - never before have there been so many conservatives fired up to do something (thank you, Rick Santelli). Now we have to keep the pressure on - and increase it - through every means we have. The coup de grace will be millions of us going to D.C. to crash the SOTU party. And it cannot end there. We have to continue to apply pressure in every way we can until we take our country back. Push Back Until!
