Fellow Freepers, Voting, blogging, reading, writing, emailing, calling, faxing, and so forth have not and will not change the direction out country is going. It is time we stop sitting on our hands and take a different tack. Please go to http://www.pushbackuntil.com. It spells out the strategy. We have to take the political battle to D.C., state capitals, and major cities around the country. Otherwise, our country is finished. That's right, finished. Because Congress is destroying it. Are we going to sit around and just watch? Or are we going to act in concert and with a set strategy. PushBackUntil.com lays out the only realistic, effective strategy there is. We especially need participation from those who live close to Washington, D.C. So email your family and friends and get them to the strategic intersections on the day of the next State of the Union address.

See you in D.C. early next year!

See you in D.C. early next year!

A lot of us don't believe we've got that long, or that this pressure cooker is going to hold out past the summer, my friend.

I agree with you, that we've got to take it to the next level. I quit writing, calling, and faxing a while back when our calls to Congress didn't stop the Bush bailout.

I realized right then and there that the game had moved to another level, and that we were going to have to wake up to that fact, as a people.

For myself, I'm going to attend every tea party in my neck of the woods, and work like hell to get more and more people to them. We're in that moment in time where we can still change our course through peaceful protest, but it's going to have to grow to a gargantuan scale, and soon.

If we miss this moment, then all bets are off, and it'll be time to lock and load. There'll be no other recourse.

I will be going to as many tea parties as I can also, but those are just the beginning. It will give Congress an idea of what is happening around the country, but they will not care as long as we all have our tea parties and then go home. Butas word gets around that we will be in D.C. on the day of the SOTU address, Congress will realize that we are - at last - serious about taking our country back. And we will push back until we get it back!

Earlier today, I sent an e-mail to my son asking him about his thoughts on developments since Obama’s election. I didn’t tell him but his answers will determine whether he inherits anything from me and his mother. I love this country more than family or friends. Am I wrong?

Given the escalation in gun and ammo sales, I'd say a significant number of people have decided to skip the demonstration & protesting phase of this revolution. They've retreated to a flank position.

Yikes! That is a tough one. But I believe in God, family, then country. Because if we put the first two first, the third will follow automatically. If it was me, I would not do that to any of my kids. I want them to know I will always love them. But I do appreciate how much you love this country. God bless.

All those people are smart, and are hedging their bets in case the peaceful path doesn't get us back to where we need to be.

The thing that will make the tea parties succeed is growth. They need to increase in frequency and size. And they’re doing just that. But, they’re not *quite there* yet.

At some point, the inertia of agreement and solidarity in the movement will create a force which cannot be stopped, and which will explode in scope in just a very short time.

For now, we need to encourage every person of good conscience to do their patriotic duty and attend these protests. It shouldn’t be hard. The Obama mis-administration is fueling the fire of these things with more egregious attacks on our freedoms and liberties every day.

You can love your kid(s)....and not give them the keys to the bank if they are unable to manage the funds appropriately. (Kinda like giving a drug addict money to buy drugs.) I’m in a similar position (although it’s more the daughter-in-law who is the problem.)

_______________

It doesn’t really matter. By the time you are gone, Obama and his Leftist friends will have re-enacted the “Death Tax,” and strengthened it to the point that all your real wealth will be absorbed by Washington. You might just tell your son that... Then he can blame the One responsible, rather than you and your wife...

Thanks for the response. It is tough when kids go off to college and get brainwashed. That’s what happened in this case. Still praying for a change.

With the way things are going, private property may become a thing of the past and that is all we will have to pass along.

"So what will work? Only one thing: long-term, nondestructive, friendly, civil disobedience "

Dennis- your idea is the equivalent of shooting spitballs. Sorry, but it's comical. Nothing short of bloodshed will get any attention.

Yep - there is always love and you are right, “what’s love got to do with it”?

No. You're not wrong.

I am the one and only conservative in my whole extended family. As such, I've pretty much been branded a heretic, a traitor, and even brainwashed, by my kin.

They're all stuck on yesterday's partisan politics, and are too mis-educated and indoctrinated to see the truth of what's occurring in this country. Sad to say, but I cannot improve their minds, if they won't allow it.

If it came down to an Obot army making war on American patriots, I'd fully expect for any one of my kin to turn in my name to them.

Times have drastically changed. Most don't yet see it, but we are already in a war for the survival of our constitutional republic and our way of life. Those of us in the know bear a great responsibility to future generations of Americans. We must do whatever it takes to preserve our country and its freedoms, and to defeat the menace which is currently attempting to destroy America.

I don't want to think the unthinkable tonight, but I know that if the time comes, I will chose country first.

We did and he has a strong work ethic, has humility, and is respectful. Problems began in about 4th year of college. Seemed like change took place overnight but he was away from home for months at a time in school. Seems like he was brainwashed by marxist environmentalists. That has been many years ago and well, we shall see.

You see it as I do and if it comes down to it, I would do whatever I could to help get this country back to what our founders intended and what they gave us through devine intervention. I have no doubt they were inspired by God. They gave their lives, their fortunes and their spirits for us. Hope to have the chance to thank them and hope that I will not have to apologize for letting their gift to us be destroyed.
