Unfortunately, most of today’s Catholics went through the Marxist government school system and then attended heavily Marxist colleges while reading Marxist newspapers and watching Marxist television and enjoying the movies and music of Marxist entertainers.

How does one hour per week in Church compete with that?

Just curious. What makes hyou think they give one hor a week in church? Accordiong to the poll they called up about three thousand people, got what they claim was their religion ands then asked what they believe. JUST ONCE I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM GO TO A CHURCH, ESPECIALLY A CONSERVATIVE ONE AND ASK THE QUESTION.

During the last forty years, our clergy has beocme more and more liberal, so the specific differences between Catholicism and other faiths have been soft-peddled. The exception has been between us and the evangelicals orf conservative Protestants.

Given the political leanings of the average priest these days, it reinforces it.

Also plunking your tush in a pew every Sunday does not necessarily mean one is a good Catholic. I would rather see the poll ask about adherence to Church teaching as an overall gauge of just how Catholic someone is.
