How many Catholics supported Obama’s stance on denying aid to babies that survive abortion and are born alive, living for hours gasping for breath in a utility closet?
The man supports baby killing, not just abortion.

They show Catholics as finding extramartial sex, homosexual relations, and divorce as being more morally acceptable to Catholics than non-Catholics. Funny sample they have.

I don’t really know why they picked out self-described “Catholics” in particular. This “poll” could apply to self-described Christians as a whole in America. I don’t see the advantage to this poll.
I’m astounded that anyone calling themselves Catholic could in find embryonic stem cell research and abortion acceptable. If this poll is true, it proves most Catholics are twice-a-year-to-mass CINO’s. :0(
Dig deeper, COMMITTED Catholics (who attend church once a week) rate abortion as 24% morally acceptable (compared with 52% of non-Committed Catholics). And 19% of COMMITTED Non-Catholics find abortion morally acceptable.
So their sample pool is screwed. It has to be heavily weighted against committed Christians (the numbers more closely resemble the Non-Committeds).

Interesting. I do go to Church and I don't remember the last time this was mentioned at Mass. Then again I don't hear about abortion or Bishop's letters unless it is election time. The Bishops have made these issues political rather than moral.

This matches the exit poll numbers for the 2008 Presidential election.
Embryonic stem cell research and abortion are really our only morally “unacceptable” points because they amount to murder. Everything else is a personal behavior that none of us could do anything about anyway. Personal sins are between the sinner and God. The most another could do is advise.
That’s what I find ignorant about these pollsters. You really could answer either way, depending upon your comprehension of the question.

I have relatives that attend the local RCC regularly. They are pro-abortion Marxists who have never voted for a Republican and never will.
When I was a youth, my parents required me to go to church and sunday school well into my teens.
Fifty years ago, my sixth grade elementary school teacher introdcued my class to evolutionism. When asked why the sunday school teaches us that God created, she answered, “That’s religion, but this is science.” That was the beginning of the end of my Catholic faith.
In eighth grade, we had a teacher of Ancient History who dismissed the Bible as “Babylonian Folk Tales.” That was 48 years ago.
Today, I have friends who run a cleaning business. Many of their clients are teachers. In every one of the teachers’ homes, EVERY ONE, the bulletin boards are crammed with Leftist activism reminders, events, contacts, and communiques. And they all have Obama stickers on their cars.
One of the houses they clean is inhabited by two Lesbians who are “married”. One is a teacher, and the other is the principal.
What chance does ANY church have against the indoctrinational onslaught of Leftist Academia?

Was there a distinction made between church-attending and non-attending Catholics? I doubt it.
Unfortunately, I know of 2 such families. Well, they support “choice”. Quite frankly, they have no real understanding of why the Church believes as she does.

You might consider taking your ass out of the stream. At least wait until the weather gets a bit warmer then put it back in.
Part of the problem too is that homilies are supposed to be focused on the Gospel (and the one or two other readings, if possible). Sin doesn’t get that much air time, I suppose.
