That operation is like something out of the Dark Ages, when people thought that illness was caused by little demons living inside you.
Exactly.
No, it is like modern day toenail clipping. Sanitary and neat.
I agree about circumcision. We once had a great discussion here on FR concerning the whole subject.
I’d like to see another one develop.
I thank my lucky stars (and my parents) for deciding not
to have me circumcised. My father wasn’t, and maybe that was the only reason, but there are lots more very compelling reasons not to. Anyone with even a rudimentary commitment to hygiene would have nothing to worry about
from the “sanitary” angle. More than anything the great argument for remaining uncircumcised is the infinitely greater sensitivity you experience from having that thing sheathed and protected most of your waking hours. I’d like to see statistics relative to the circumcised/uncircumsized population and how many convicted rapists belong to each group. Maybe it wouldn’t prove anything, but I have some very strong beliefs about what circumcision has done to the male of the species.
Only when it’s performed the way this sorry excuse for a doctor performed it. Research is piling up fast showing huge health benefits of circumcision by reducing sexually transmissible diseases including AIDS and cancer-causing HPV.
