I wonder how long it will take the state of New York to prosecute him for tax evasion by way of moving?
They’ll probably still want taxes from him, no matter where he lives.

Not evasion if he doesn’t owe anything.
Now they will most certainly try to get every penny they can out of him, since they won’t have any of his future income to go after. Having killed the golden goose, they’ll boil the bones to at least have a thin soup for tomorrow’s lunch.
