HATE ON THE RISE: EXECUTIVES UNDER SIEGE
NY Post ^ | March 28, 2009 | Michelle Malkin

Posted on 03/28/2009 2:50:18 AM PDT by Scanian

IF you think there are no consequences to hysterical, anti-corporate grandstanding in Washington, pay attention to what's happening across the pond: "This is just the beginning."

So warned a public letter signed this week by a vigilante group called "Bank Bosses are Criminals." The thugs claimed responsibility for vandalizing a former financial executive's home and car in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The bank official, Sir Fred Goodwin, had been excoriated by UK politicians for refusing to give up company pension benefits dubbed "obscene," "grotesque," "unjustifiable and unacceptable."

The vigilantes were stoked by a former newspaper editor, one Max Hastings, who wrote a diatribe exhorting citizens to violence: "The time has come to address the entire robber banker culture. Investment banks have been run not for the benefit of society, customers or even shareholders, but exclusively for the advantage of the bankers themselves . . . This is why we must stand outside their homes throwing rocks through the windows until they do."

This is no marginal movement. Some 3,000 protesters from around the world are expected to wreak havoc on the G20 summit next week in London. What happened at Sir Fred's house is a mere dress rehearsal. Bankers are being told to dress down to disguise themselves and avoid becoming riot targets.

Demonstrators are threatening to hang effigies. Protest organizer and university professor Chris Knight vowed worse:

"We are going to be hanging a lot of people like Fred the Shred from lampposts on April Fools' Day, and I can only say let's hope they are just effigies. To be honest, if he winds us up any more, I'm afraid there will be real bankers hanging from lampposts, and let's hope that that doesn't actually have to happen."

What do we expect, really? For more than sixty years now all the leftists of the workd have propagandized and defamed all capitalists.

Would this editorial have been acceptable if he had been urging the proles to burn the Jews? Sadly, I believe it would be.

These are indeed perilous times for civilization.

Up next healthcare: Watch for ACORN to be sponsoring bus tours to the homes of white children who were saved by better healthcare. They’ll use all the predictable props too. Mark my words.

This is exactly the kind of ‘community organizing’ practiced by Obama in Chicago.

Encourage mobs to picket businesses, banks, utilities, etc. to gain unfair and unearned advantage.

Which is exactly why those of us who asked the Obama campaign what the “community organizing” was all about were dissed or simply ignored.

“What do we expect, really? For more than sixty years now all the leftists of the world have propagandized and defamed all capitalists.”

This anger being displayed on the left towards bankers is nothing more than a smoke screen designed to take the publics attention away from the out right thievery that is taking place on a daily basis in Washington D.C. Obama and his minions in Congress make these bankers look like pikers.

“to gain...unearned advantage”

These po’ disadvantaged folks just wanna redistribute wealth, Comrade.

Unable to compete in the competitive marketplace, they resort to thuggery to claim the spoils earned by those who legally obtained them through actual ability and effort.

The proletariat is indeed rising. All they need is the right leader.

My question is how much of it is orchestrated and how much of it is happenstance. We know Obama and congress knew about the bonuses. We know that they knew the public was getting fed up with the bailouts. So, what better way to stoke public anger than let the bonuses go through and then stoke public resentment over it

BBC has been peddling this anti-banker, anti-capitalist claptrap even harder over there than they have here.

If a few of these "Anarchists" would just get a bullet to the leg, their movement would dissolve like the mist it is based on.

It is a game to them. Don't play nice and the bandidos will scatter like the cockroaches they are.

Michelle is talking about Scotland BTW. Self-defense is outlawed there, no?

This is the ugly face of envy, stage 1 of how tribal warfare unfolds. For human evolution to occur, some people must die, and we may well see some human evolution taking place.

Warm shelter, so much food they are fat, cell phones, iPods, big screen TVs, free healthcare, laptop computers, high speed internet, video games, movies, restaurants, jet travel, vacations, pill enabled promiscuous sex, is just not enough. The modern middle class lives better than a king did 100 years ago. But the existence of others with visibly bigger houses, bigger families, bigger cars, is just too much of an obstruction to happiness. They must destroy.

No doubt Annenberg Challenge money went for hiring busses, paying rabble rousers, and buying votes.

All of it funded by Soros

Does anyone have the home addresses for the following people?: Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters, Fanklin Raines, Harry Ried, Charles Rangel, George Soros, Tim Geithner...

I’m going to rent some busses and organize a rally with some prison types..

We may very well be living in apocalyptic times. But, I think He said something like his in revelations; “fear not for these things shall come to pass.” (?)

I know, I am such a racist. I expect people to work hard and save for a down payment on a house. To have income, and a reasonably good credit score.
