Financial Times ^ | 27 Mar 2009 | Jonathan Wheatley

Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on Thursday blamed the global economic crisis on “white people with blue eyes” and said it was wrong that black and indigenous people should pay for white people’s mistakes.

Speaking in Brasília at a joint press conference with Gordon Brown, the UK prime minister, Mr Lula da Silva told reporters: “This crisis was caused by the irrational behaviour of white people with blue eyes, who before the crisis appeared to know everything and now demonstrate that they know nothing.”

He added: “I do not know any black or indigenous bankers so I can only say [it is wrong] that this part of mankind which is victimised more than any other should pay for the crisis.”

I’ve been doing it ever since 1978 and Bakke case in California.

"...it was wrong that black and indigenous people should pay for white people’s mistakes."

No problemo, Luiz. Just provide the victims with affordable housing by issuing subprime loans insured by the government.

This stuff is all the rage in Latin America. Anyone primarily of Spanish or other European heritage is an enemy of the “people,” who must be of indigenous or African heritage to qualify as “people.” They’re trying to get rid of Spanish or Portuguese where they can, and Evo Morales is even trying to bring back the pre-Christian religion (which involves worshipping llamas) in Bolivia. Hopefully, none of them will try to bring back those attractive pre-Christian religions that involved human sacrifice; although they probably will, but it will now be in the form of attacks on European-descended Latin Americans, speakers of Spanish, etc.

We are seeing an exaltation of the primitive and tribal beyond anything one could ever have thought would happen at this point in history, and Barry’s hate and resentment-filled policies are encouraging this on a global basis.

Lula has the equivalent of an 8th grade education.

Which puts him well above average comparded to his electorate. And, a good portion of the U.S.'s electorate, too.

From behind my hazel eyes, I join da Silva in denouncing “blue-eyed” people and all the havoc that they have wrought.

Concentration camps are the only sensible response.
