No, I don’t feel better because nothing will change. You don’t get back voluntarily what you give up voluntarily.

Idiot? Probably, but, incompetent, who knows.

Where have you ever met a competent idiot?

>Quick piece of advice - if you have a job that involves any form of dealing with the public - stay away from facebook, myspace, twitter, et. al.

Fortunately, as an evil overlord my ways of “dealing with the public” bring quick and drastic results. ;)

Too many of these immature young people use facebook like a diary or post conversations that would best be left private. State Troopers in any state are supposed to be the cream of law enforcement. I believe the cream’s gone sour.

A couple of years ago an ISP trooper in my town was convicted of selling State Police ammunition. At about the same time a local officer was convicted of stealing confiscated drug cash. Just the tip of the iceberg, IMHO.

“Where have you ever met a competent idiot?”

You mean you need me to tell you that there is a difference is someone acting like an idiot and being an idiot? Because you got to know that’s what I was referring to.

I mean, only an idiot wouldn’t know that. LOL

Active duty LEOs who take pictures of themselves pointing their service weapons at each other while consuming alcohol, then posting those photos on the internet aren't acting like idiots. They're the genuine article.

Only an idiot wouldn't know that. LOL
