WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama defended his strategy of tackling multiple challenges instead of focusing solely on fixing the U.S. economy in a return on Wednesday to the political fund-raising that helped elect him. Obama helped fellow Democrats bring in at least $3 million during two events, his first fund-raisers since taking office more than two months ago. He used his speeches to defend his proposed $3.55 trillion budget plan as the key to reviving the U.S. economy. Critics in Washington say Obama is trying to do too many things at once, complicating his efforts to mend the economy. Many political experts say he needs to act now, while he remains popular with the American people, to win congressional passage of his top policy priorities. "I'm not going to kick these problems down the road for another four years, another eight years, to the next president, the next generation," he told cheering supporters.

Real meaning is ramrodding “6. to accomplish or put into action by force, intimidation, etc.: to ramrod a bill through Congress.
Unsustainable entitlement programs. Wonderful sentiments Health Care for all, Education for all, Energy for all...
The top 1 percent aren’t rich enough to handle all the expense unless of course he taxes the 1 percent at 80 percent of earnings and that won’t happen so instead, the big losers will be the middle class.
Increased Taxes, Increased utility and energy costs to the middle class, Subsidies in health Care and education to the poor.
The American Dream will be destroyed.
Plus he has this huge pot of money to play with - like a kid in a candy store.
No president in history has ever had a shattering crisis in which to gain cover, and an endless supply of money to do his nefarious deeds.
The only solution to counter, is to go on a full court press to inform and/or educate the general public. Talk, write, email everyone, especially your Congressmen. Stand tall like a Mississippi pine.
Write our congressmembers? They aren’t listening....see TARP, bailouts, stimulous, stem cells, etc., etc., etc.
