'I'm having a very good crisis,' says Soros as hedge fund managers make billions off recession

By Mail Foreign Service 25th March 2009

George Soros said the current economic crisis has been the culmination of his life's work

A hedge fund manager who predicted the global credit crunch has said the financial crisis has been 'stimulating' and the culmination of his life's work.

George Soros, who predicted the global financial crisis twice before, was one of the few people to anticipate and prepare for the current economic collapse.

Mr Soros said his prediction meant he was better able to brace his Quantum investment fund against the gloabal storm.

But other investors failed to take notice of his prediction and his decision to come out of retirement in 2007 to manage the fund made him $US2.9 billion.

And while the financial crisis continued to deepen across the globe, the 78-year-old still managed to make $1.1 billion last year.

'It is, in a way, the culminating point of my life’s work,' he told national newspaper The Australian.

Soros is one of 25, top hedge fund managers from across Wall Street who have defied the credit crunch crisis to reap a total of $11.6billion (£7.9bn) last year.

Not a difficult task when you have you hand up Mr. Soetoro’s backside and are able to move his lips so that he can talk up or down the economy at your behest.

“Will ACORN bus a crowd to picket Soros’ masions?”

Steel, buddy... Soros OWNS ACORN.

Soros needs a 99.9% tax rate, don’t you think?

Making Billions off of hard working Americans is just evil.

And you can bet he knows the use of the word ‘crisis’ is from Rahm Emmanuel statement about not letting a crisis go to waste.

Just his way of laughing at America while he does his Zimbabwe number on the USA.

LOL, Soros doesn't pay taxes, he lives off of them.

We pay taxes, he collects them.

"God does not like this man. I’m certain of it."

I know I don't. What a POS. Time is running out for karma for him though.

He better enjoy it at a ripe age of 78 because it won't give him any comfort where he is going after his last breath is drawn in this life.

“George Soros, who predicted the global financial crisis twice before, was one of the few people to anticipate and prepare for the current economic collapse.”

He’s pretty obviously in the insiders’ club and was in on the planning of this recession.

About to be the first trillionaire? He already surely controls that much or more even if it isn’t in his own name. He is effectively the richest man since Mr. Dzugashvili, the wunderkind from Georgia.

And he made money of electing him, as we said he was doing.

Now he’ll make more off of the One’s tanking of the markets before they go back up when the One does not get re-elected.

This man is the very antithesis of what this nation stands for. He sent tens of millions reeling into poverty in Malaysia and Thailand and almost crippled the Bank of England.

When is enough enough? When we all have no money, the dollar is worth little, we have lost our freedom of speech, gun rights, etc? I feel like we are on a fast track to the old USSR. sigh..........
