I thought that was common practice in businesses. Ya especially in the delivering mail business because people with two legs who can read and write don't grow on trees.

Clearly, the PO needs that 8% increase the budget bill just gave them!!!!

Funny you should mention that - eliminating Tuesday - because I was at a party last night and one of the guys there works for the PO.
I mentioned I had heard of layoffs/early retirement and eliminating Saturday delivery. He said that no, they were thinking about eliminating Tuesday "as that is the lightest delivery day of the week."

Obama is laying off thousands at the Post Office.Post Office isn't government... It's a private corporation I believe... Obama is off the hook on that one but I still don't know where the 3 mil jobs are coming from...
