I guess this is what BO means when he says Geithner is doing an “outstanding” job. Fiascos can be “outstanding”.
So, when are they going to drag him in front of Congress and grill him like a dog as they did with the AIG guy?
Everybody is racing to take the blame what is this shit a beauty contest?
Does 0bama know this? ‘Cause the messiah said he was taking the fall. What gives?
Tax his pay at 90%!
(he would forget to pay it I’d bet)
our best and brightest don’t you know. Can’t live without the tax deadbeat.
BS. That was a hostage statement. He had a gun in his back.
As part of the story I just heard on Gretta that legislation was passed today allowing Merrill Lynch executives to get their bonus’s. There is fully a 3 ring circus going on with the dimocRAT controlled Congress.
I also heard the Obama administration used AIG to filter 40 billion of our hard earned taxpayer dollars to 16 foreign banks. The Bank of France got somewhere around 11 billion and Deutsches Bank got around 5 billion.
The story keeps unraveling. The handling of the financial crisis by the dimocRAT Congress and the Obama administration has got to be the biggest boondoggle I can remember.
This is the tax cheat we couldn’t do without at Treasury???
The guy is still lying about what he knew and when he knew it!
And covering for others who knew what he knew when he knew it!
A lot of road kill under that bus...
***I was in a position where I didn’t know about those sooner***
Sooner than when the bill was signed into law on Feb 11?
Another tax cheat claims responsibility. If the situation weren’t so pathetic, it would hilarious.
The hilarious part of all this is if the Administration had just let the AIG’ers take the bonuses, instead of having a manufactured tantrum about it, they wouldn’t be sinking in all this muck.
They are truly clueless. And dangerous even to themselves.
Which FReeper will be first with a Photoshoped Pic of Geitner with a Sword in is chest and Obama smiling at him?
We tried to warn’em that this guy was the wrong guy to be SecTreas but the media came back with the (d) party line that he was “the best person for the job”.
If he can’t understand his own tax liability, how can he understand anything larger?
Geithner is not a smart person.
Responsibility is a heavy responsibility. He deserves a cookie for his money grubbing efforts.
This Bill was written in the office of the Speaker. Why doesn’t she take responsibility?
What if all the AIG employees just “walk out”? Or, what if they in vengence, were to destroy the company?
Many of them, at the worst of it, were begged to stay, save the sinking ship. Now, their pay, retention bonus, is taken away...
There are going to be some very, very, bitter angry folks out there...
