The climate change panel predicted a sea level rise of 7 to 23 inches by the end of the century... When faking data, it's always best to avoid even numbers. This is a prime example. If they said the sea level would rise between a half-foot to 2 feet, it sounds ever so less "scientific". Perhaps they should have said the sea level will rise 7.2 to 23.7 inches. Even better, put it in metric to make it look even more "scientific" not to mention giving an international flair to the data!
