F. RENUNCIATION FOR MINOR CHILDREN

Parents cannot renounce U.S. citizenship on behalf of their minor children. Before an oath of renunciation will be administered under Section 349(a)(5) of the INA, a person under the age of eighteen must convince a U.S. diplomatic or consular officer that he/she fully understands the nature and consequences of the oath of renunciation, is not subject to duress or undue influence, and is voluntarily seeking to renounce his/her U.S. citizenship.

obama was a british citizen until I think it was 1982 and he placed that on his campaign website. How old was obama in 1982?

Or was obama's mother able to put her son in school in Indonensia by allowing Lolo to adopt him under his delayed birth certificate filed in the U.S.? Nothing was computerized then. Two different citizenships could allow for many possibilities.

When Obama was born, he had dual citizenship with Britain, but in 1963 that changed to Kenyan dual citizenship upon that countries independence.

From the Kenya constitution:

A person who, upon the attainment of the age of twenty-one years, is a citizen of Kenya and also a citizen of some country other than Kenya shall, subject to subsection (7), cease to be a citizen of Kenya upon the specified date unless he has renounced his citizenship of that other country, taken the oath of allegiance and, in the case of a person who was born outside Kenya. made and registered such declaration of his intentions concerning residence as may be prescribed by or under an Act of Parliament.

How old was obama in 1982?

21. And since he didn't renounce his US citizenship, his Kenyan citizenship status was revoked at that time, in accordance with the Kenyan constitution. What does that have to do with his parents inability to renounce his US citizenship when he was under 18?

Or did Lolo just go down to the local public school and fill out the form with the information that would get his kid into school.

Again, none of this changes the explicit US law that nothing his parents did could renounce his US citizenship on his behalf. And you're also getting into a position that foreign law trumps US laws as to who is or isn't a US citizen.

Two different citizenships could allow for many possibilities.

Aren't you up to three, now? Keep going. Maybe you should start a rumor that he got Pakistani citizenship when he visited there.
