Exactly, and one of the only places she would have been where she wouldn’t have learned to change a diaper would have been a home for unwed mothers, contact between mothers and babies was discouraged. I wonder if her parents made a deal with her that she could go to UW as she had wanted if she went to a home and gave the baby up for adoption, but then changed her mind which resulted in the birth registration etc.
