Missouri Militia Report
Kansas City Star ^ | AP

Posted on 03/16/2009 7:09:00 AM PDT by Lobbyist

COLUMBIA, Mo. | A new document meant to help Missouri law enforcement agencies identify militia members or domestic terrorists has drawn criticism for some of the warning signs mentioned.

The Feb. 20 report called "The Modern Militia Movement" mentions such red flags as political bumper stickers for third-party candidates, such as U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, who ran for president last year; talk of conspiracy theories, such as the plan for a superhighway linking Canada to Mexico; and possession of subversive literature.

"It seems like they want to stifle political thought," said Roger Webb, president of the University of Missouri campus Libertarians. "There are a lot of third parties out there, and none of them express any violence. In fact, if you join the Libertarian Party, one of the things you sign in your membership application is that you don't support violence as a means to any ends."

So is this Star on the Kansas City newspaper red? This sounds like an attack on the Constitution and mud slinging onto the right. If Boama had not caused the sale of one million guns and all the ammo supplies of stores then Boama would be attacking the right.

What do you expect now that we have an 0bama lap dog as our state leader? Holden will use this as nothing more than a hit list for nis political agenda.

I knew that once Obama would take office that he would no longer focus on Muslim terrorists but local militias and others that talk of liberty. It was the same with Clinton. Basically anyone who supports the second amendment and speaks out against his presidency is more of a threat to them. One day, just knowing what’s contained in the constitution, will be a crime.

They included everyone in the report that supports policies against illegal immigration, the Smartport project, NAU, etc. Most, if not all, of the information came from the Southern Poverty Law Center.

It is fundamentally unfair to include folks who have opinions about the above mentioned issues and those whose sole mission in life is to overthrow the government.

The two party rule, believe as we do or shut up and take it. RNC and DNC stick together on stopping any other chain of thought.

and possession of subversive literature.
"subversive literature"
Yeah, like the Constitution, Bill of Rights, The Federalist papers, or worse -- a framed copy of the Second Amendment. But I'd wager these Goose-Stepping LEOs have no problem with commies handing out passages of Marx or Mao's Little Red Book on college campuses though. That's 'Freedom of Speech', right?

An aside, I just finished reading Sun Tzu's 'The Art of War' and am now in the Study Guide Section(1) of the book. Why do I get the feeling that these goons would consider that book 'subversive literature'. Even though it's still studied today at the Army War College!

(1) You start back from Page One with modern military interpretations of what Sun Tzu said/meant. With quotes from 'modern' Generals, like Napolean to Stormin' Norman.

The criminalization of the Right continues apace....

Seriously though, are law enforcement folks so stupid as to consider data from SPLC as valid? everyone knows it's cr@p. They demean themselves and create disrespect for the law by giving the SPLC the time of day. Dees (the head of the SPLC) is a crook, plain and simple.

On last night’s episode of The Unit (CBS), the bad guys that tried to kill everyone with a chlorine gas cloud were white supramecist (Aryan Nation prison tattoos) militia types. Groan...

If they want to identify militia members, here’s a simple definition for them: The militia is EVERY able-bodied citizen.

Those guys were the PATSIES that were intended to die while completing their terrorist attack so the real perpetrators would go unnoticed.

http://www.prolognet.qc.ca/clyde/cfr.html

Both parties are part of the NWO, and there are lots of links on other threads to info that shows as much....the CFR has been guiding our elections for more than 50 yrs..but now with ZERO they have achieved their goal..to change America from a free country to another communist country.

HR 1388 is about volunteerism until you read it, and it talks of MANDATORY service for youth...Hitler youth camps.

Geez, I meant Nixon, not Holden. Though they’re both idiots, there was a couple of elections between the two. It’s early here and lack of sleep is showing. Sorry guys!

Well, it SHOULD be every able-bodied citizen! The left are betting on that not being the case which will allow them to crush the opposition in little groups until they have complete control!

I am paraphrasing here, but when they came for the Jews I did not complain, because I am not a Jew; when they came for the Catholics I did not complain, because I am not a Catholic; etc...!!!!!

FYI - support the Constitution in MO and you’re a potential militia member or domestic terrorist.

Evidently the founders were some pretty dangerous guys, having used the word “militia” in the second amendment. I wonder who did their tattoos??

This is what passes for deduction in the profiling community.? A smart "militia" would have its members buy Volvos covered with left wing stickers. That way all those evil black rifles can be transported safely. I have to go now. A neighbor wants to borrow my copy of Redacted.
