40 Days for Life consists of 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion,
40 days of constant, peaceful vigil outside abortion centers and Planned Parenthood offices
and 40 days of active pro-life community outreach.
Your community may be participating in this prayerful vigil.
If so, please join others in your area
or unite with thousands across America
during the 40 days of Lent
in praying for an end to abortion in this nation.
Pray that when those representing Planned Parenthood and other abortion groups see volunteers for 40 Days for Life, they see ambassadors of Christ, and may each volunteer be consciously aware at all times of Whom we represent.
SCRIPTURE
I...beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness, and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love.

REFLECTION
When Carol Everett, a former abortionist and post-abortive woman, was asked what turned her heart from death to life in Christ, she said, "Unconditional love," shown by a man who prayed daily for her in front of the abortion clinic where she worked.
He told Carol that "God had sent him" because there was someone in there that God wanted out.
She left 27 days later and now serves as Christ's ambassador to help others.
We too have been sent by Christ as an ambassador to love unconditionally those God seeks to "get out" of their bondage and sin.
What a high calling it is -- much higher than any presidential appointment to another country.
In his book, Fishers of Men, Dr. Sumner Wemp describes what it means to be an ambassador of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings:
* God has chosen us (John 15:16)
* We are sent into a world that is not our home (1 Peter 2:11)
* Our walk must match our talk (1 Timothy 3:7)
* We must abide in Him for daily instruction (John 15:5)
* Know our purpose -- to seek and to save that which is lost (Luke 19:10)
* We are to reconcile others to God with His authority (Matthew 28:19-20)
* Do not let kindness and truth leave you (Proverbs 3:3-4)
* Our service is to be grounded and rooted in love (Ephesians 3:17)
Pray that we each will walk worthy of the calling with which we were called!
PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, we are humbled that you have called us and appointed us to be ambassadors of Christ in a world that is not our home.
We pray that your Holy Spirit will empower us to walk worthy of the calling. We pray that Your unconditional love will flow through us to those who desperately need Your saving grace.
In the name of Christ who is worthy, Amen.
May the hearts of the workers in abortion clinics be touched by those who would stand by in vigilant prayer, and may each worker submit to the Holy Spirit's call from darkness into the Light of the Lord Jesus Christ's love. In His Holy Name, Amen.
Merciful Father,
We pray for thy divine Will to be done in the specific circumstance of the trial starting on March 16 (tomorrow) of George Tiller, MD. He is the one who runs the late term abortion mill in Wichita, KS. Father, shatter the unholy alliance he has built up with Kathleen Sibelious, the Governor, many Kansas legislators, a DA, and others by using his blood money to influence them in his favor.
Father, we also ask that any and all of such kinds of alliances be shattered and that our Lord and Savior will judge His righteous judgement upon that entire matrix of darkness. This which we ask for the George Tiller situation we call forth for any and all “doctors”, staff, and corrupted health care professionals acting throughout the United States and elsewhere on this earth to destroy the life of the Holy Innocents!
Our Lord said, “Let the little Children come unto me.” Father, we say it also, in his name, and we ask that the little children would be allowed to come to us, and that the modern day Herods would not be allowed to kill them and abort the divine plans that you have for them.
We place all of this before you upon the altar and we give thanks for your intercession and your gracious hearing of our prayers. We pray together for the full and final victory of this whole issue according to your blessed holy Will.

I join in prayer to end late term abortion.
Amen, Lord, Amen. It is not Your will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. We pray that You would rescue these precious innocents from the hands of George Tiller, Martin Haskell, and a host of others, and that You would bring these men and women under Your conviction. Yours is the victory, Lord. Only You have the power to save. Make haste to help us, Almighty God. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
God bless these two brave young men. He will use them in a mighty way to expose the lies of Planned Parenthood.
