IMHO if the GOP was now, and had been showing a bit more cojones and principles, Lieberman would have switched parties, and everyone would be happy.
The GOP does not now, and has not been showing ANY cojones or principles, and is getting shellacked at every turn by Democrats who are not hesitating to stand for *their* principles - communist though they may be.
Lieberman, like a girl who sides with the leader of the pack, just isn’t going to side with WEENIES.

This saddens me, because I like Joe Lieberman I still think ther’s a decent person inside there, but like a lot of people, his threshold trigger is extremely high. These people don’t come to their senses until the catastrophe imminent, or even already upon us. I was hoping that deep down, he was one of us in the sense that we feel it our duty to speak up.
