US President Barack Obama mustered his powerful campaign army on Monday, calling on his millions of supporters to lobby on behalf of his budget and economic plan.
The appeal to back the president was made in an email and video sent out by "Organizing for America," the organization which morphed out of Obama's campaign machinery to push his agenda when he entered the White House.
In the video, Mitch Stewart, the director of Organizing for America, urged the president's supporters to take part in the "Organizing for America Pledge Project."

I’m wondering how much buyer’s remorse may be affecting the enthusiasm of the majority of Obama’s partisans.
The young professional and college kiddie demographic is looking at seriously contracting opportunities.
The old hippie demographic is looking at seriously contracting 401k’s.
The State/Municipal Employee/Schoolteacher demographic is looking at furloughs and cutbacks in hours, Pension Funds about to go bankrupt, TIAA-CREF shrinkage and shriveling investments.
I think reality must be setting in about now. Nobody is recession-proof, even the spiritually elect.
The socialists have the right plan to fight back at the lazy American middle class. They already see the ‘Tea Party’ movement starting to take off. They can not risk the reasonable tax paying Americans protesting and showing him as a failure. He needs his own supporters to show up in mass to quash that possibility. This is the socialist game plan, and they are playing it perfectly well. Chicago is so crooked, and this is how they play the game. America better do something before we are totally trumped by a bunch of sheep.

If ‘the one’ is not giving these ‘supporters’ money to support him as he did in the election, they will not be doing a darn thing to help him....
