LOL!
make the transition from FUBU to FUBO.
I call it the "DUmmie Experiment." Hey, I buy locally. It save me time and gas, rather than driving 20 miles and buy something for a few cents less. I don't care if the owner is green, as long as he/she has what I need. When we need a weeks worth of groceries, we may drive a few miles further.
I almost bet that they are getting food stamps or other federal dollars. They are probably spending federal dollars (your taxes) to buy their food or whatever.
Ahhhh,
Spent my honeymoon near Mountain City.
Wonderful country, quite beautiful. Folks are very down to earth compared to Atlanta.
Will take a while for you to fit in. You still lock all your stuff, cars doors, etc. You are from Atlanta. Slow down.
The flea market just outside Murphy is worth the drive.
Good move, congratulations.
Wonder why they moved away in the first place????
Please translate the new FUBO?
Respectfully,
NSNR
Say the letters slowly, and think about whose initials are “B.O.”...
F U B.O.
I think you hit a crux right there. I also patronize businesses based on that criteria, but sometimes I walk into a store and get a strong dose of hostility and non-friendliness that says "we don't want your business". These businesses are staffed by non-whites and the hostility was directed towards a pasty person.
Do I consider this racism or just incompetence? An example: This happens at a store I will not mention the name of, but it starts with "T" and ends in "arget", and I have observed a dynamic several times wherein the employee will see a person needing and requesting assistance, and the employee will turn around and walk away. It is a very strong nonverbal way of saying "screw you, white boy/girl/old man/old lady".
I have never ever seen a person of color treated poorly or demeaned in any way by a pasty employee in my entire life, so what's the deal?
>>Do I consider this racism or just incompetence?<<
I consider it a piss poor attitude.
If I was treated this way, I would report it to a manager and I would not return to the store.
Period.
I see many “Persons of Color” working at my Walmart. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. Maybe that shop with the T needs to lose some business before they see their employees are rude.
If it were a gay owned business would it be BUFU?
Roger that!
