It doesn’t offend me - and I know it’s historically accurate - but I do wonder at the motivation behind the decision to use a completely nude crucifix to illustrate this story. Is somebody trying to cause an issue?
I’d like to see the EU just try to enforce this in Poland.
So sue for failure to hang one. If only the WASPS will learn how to burn and riot.
It’s amazing how much evil has been done in the name of tolerance, diversity, and environmentalism - all three of which have roots in truly good ideas.
>> The EU equality law that will let ‘upset’ atheists sue companies that hang up crucifixes
But will it be an atheist to first file suit?
Can I sue against a coworker bringing in one of those crappy dawkins books or a pentagram?
>The Archbishops’ Council even fears that charities could be challenged by atheists if grace is said before meals.<
What about facing Mecca and banging your head on the floor? Is that OK?
Wow. All I can say. Wow.
I keep thinking this has got to be a dream, and I will wake up at some point.
OK. That’s it.
EU, Hand over Chartres if you’re done with it. Or the cathedral at Toledo.
What's that? You say this is a protected class and I can't sue?
Close the Christian hospitals and charities. See if these clowns who run this stupid EU can handle that.
Organisations which hang crucifixes on walls could be sued if they upset atheists under equality laws proposed by the European Union
Atheists upset me simply by existing. Can I sue?
This notion that the Government can protect everyone from being upset or offended is silly and asinine.
Why notjust mass produce huge plastic bubbles and placeeveryone in one....
Poor little itty bitty atheists are “offended” . . .
Europe is such a hole.
With all the money going for pork how about a study on what’s causing the common sense part of the brain of so many people to die off?
“to offer people protection from providers of goods and services”
That phrase alone captures the mooching, looting, entitlement philosophy so well portrayed in Atlas.
“Consumer activists” somehow are able to use that phrase with a serious face.
I think Europe has gone through this one before, as has the Middle East.
An awful lot of art may have to come off the walls of major art museums all over Europe.
