Glad to hear it. Got a nephew who lives with his homosexual US Navy officer boyfriend (whose identity I don’t know, or he wouldn’t still be a naval officer) in Honolulu and I was concerned they might actually be able to make it “legal”.

I have always been told that 85% occupancy is break-even in the resort business. Plus, a lot of these tourists are there on discount deals and the Asians and Aussies are likely getting volume discounts from their tour operators. Who knows what deals have been cut for the timeshares.

So they are “back up” to 10% below break even if the bookings were full price. Add in the discounts and let’s say they are back from losing their shirts to maintaining an anemic, negative cash flow, at best.
