Neither Alan Moore nor Frank Miller are conservatives and both have included their own Reagan bashing in their comics from the 1980s and since.

How so? I'm not necessarily looking for a debate, but I am curious.

When characters go beyond being characters and are active symbols I usually pick up on it. Outside of the utter absurdity that the inmates would toss away the detonator while the citizens wanted to actually kill the inmates I didn't see it.
