You know Katie Couric and her CBS Evening News have some serious problems when they become the butt of sports-talk mockery . . .
On his ESPN show this afternoon, the acerbic Jim Rome raked Alex Rodriguez for seeking career advice from Couric.
JIM ROME: Katie Couric says that while she was trying to line up an interview with Alex Rodriguez back in ‘07, he actually asked her what she thought that he should do about his contract: quote, what team do you think I should play for? . . . Katie Couric? I mean, judging from her ratings, she can barely handle her own gig, much less yours. Why would you go to her for advice? Brian Williams, Tom Brokaw–maybe. Oprah, I get. But Katie Couric?

LOL does anybody remember that time Jim Everett tried to beat up Jim Rome?
I do but am not sure what caused it. Did Rome say something about Chris Evert?
Jim Rome is an entertainer... he’s a lib and is on a “sports show”... He could drive off a cliff today or be around for 40 years... either way all he is is a sports entertainer/sarcastic/commentator non-athlete.

He kept calling Chris Everett "Chrissie Everett".

Jim Rome has that crybaby/insolent tone in his voice like when the big kids finally come out to play. That failed athlete turned self proclaimed “reporter” kind of whine.
I know who he is but have never watched or listened to his show. Very funny though. LOL!
If it gets much worse, Barry is going to have to call in Mark Grace for tips on how to get the recovery going.
