Thanks for the links. He is wishy washy. Too bad. Not what we need now.

I will do some research on Steele.

A quote posted here on FR from Steele in the Washington Post sounded very anti-gun rights to me.

Perhaps I’ll start a thread and freepers can discuss this very topic.

"I will do some research on Steele."

Fair enough. I'll do the same. Sorry for snapping at you in my earlier post. I watched too much CPAC on TV today, and aside from Ann Coulter, the whole thing left me a bit disillusioned.

The Second Amendment is a key issue with me, and if Steele really is anti-gun, then he's out.

I guess the point I was really trying to make is that we blew it in '08, and we need a strong conservative ticket in '12 if this republic is to survive. At this early stage I lean toward Palin and Steele. I know a lot of folks here would disagree with that. Oh well. One thing is for sure. The MSM sucker punched us bigtime. They gave us McCain. When Palin emerged, the media descended to an unprecedented level of sleaze, and got away with it. I just don't to see that happen again.

“Sorry, I threw out the envelope. My apologies, an address should have been part of my post. I was simply appealing to all Freepers who will be getting these letters.”

No problem, thanks. I’m sure we can all find the addresses, and I am the first I will post the address.

I get a lot of email from organizations associated with the GOP, and I am constantly sending them questions about candidates and why there are few true conservatives running.

They never answer my questions. But that doesn’t stop them from asking for more money.

Told him/RNC that if they want to act like Democrats all they were going to get from me is Democrat money and put a printout of a $1000 bill with Obamas face on it I found on the net.
Great idea Max! That sends a pretty “self explanatory” message
