Report co-author Rachel Benson Gold called the family planning program "smart government at its best," asserting that every dollar spent on it saves taxpayers $4 in costs associated with unintended births to mothers eligible for Medicaid-funded natal care.

TOPICS: Culture/Society; Government
KEYWORDS: abortion; abortionagenda; prolife; study
Let me paraphrase the study: "Because abortion is 'legal,' and because the government has committed to providing for children that unmarried women have to fathers who abandon them, even more welfare spending is necessary to prevent abortions. Actually making individuals pay for the children they have, actually forcing child support to be paid, actually banning infanticide in this country, none of those are workable solutions....."

Who is going to pay? The wealthy, and the corporations. These people are under the bizarre, unfounded assumption that you can bleed them dry with no ill effects to everybody else.

I think you have it about right. Any sex is not only good, not merely a right, but a positive duty, a hygienic regimen. So we must subsidize libertinism by divorcing sex from that awkward procreation stuff. Freedom no longere means the ability to take responsitility,. It now means the ability to shuck it. And some other word with “u c k” in it.

And of course there will be fewer people to work for the corporations, and fewer people to buy what they produce.

And we’ll all be Muslims anyway ... Totalitarianism is the culmination of the Liberal dream.

It's my opinion that abortion on demand has devalued all human life and has led to a coarseness in society towards its preservation in all stages. We have “progressed” from roe v. wade to assisted suicide, embryonic stem cell research, with certain circles referring to euthanasia as “mercy” killing. There is going to be a push in this country to alleviate the suffering of the elderly by putting them out of their misery. The reasons are very obvious. Demographically speaking the country will no longer be able to financially sustain Medicare and euthanasia will be talked about in compassionate terms to justify the taking of the lives of the elderly. Abortion in the overwhelming number of cases preformed is murder in the guise of birth control. Our societal moral compass is so out of skew that the majority of Americans will not admit this.

the forty plus million that have been aborted since Roe V Wade have been replaced by immigrants illegal and legal. The illegals cost billions annually.

For people doing cost benefit analysis of abortion—the cost of illegals should be factored in.
