Read the U.S. Department of Education guidelines on prayer in schools  * The guidelines state: "Students may pray when not engaged in school activities or instruction, subject to the same rules designed to prevent material disruption of the educational program that are applied to other privately initiated expressive activities.'' 

 Many school districts in NJ and the USA are making accommodations for some religions and not others.  As you can see in the article districts are helping out.  In some NJ school districts they are now closing for El Eid and Ramadan and listing the religious holiday by name, you don't see that with Christmas.  The word Christmas is replaced by Winter or Holiday and remember, Christmas is a Federal Holiday and by law it should be listed as such because a school district is a public entity.   And just don't dress as Jesus for Halloween or bring in a Bible or pray before school starts or before meals, you will be told not to.  Is it OK to say Christmas?  No way!  It's Holidays or Winter Recess, no more Christmas break.  Check the Calendar, for Christmas;  it's called Holiday Recess

I’m fortunate (and thankful) in that the GOD I serve doesn’t require me to pray at a certain time of day. H doesn’t even require me to pray in privacy, or in the open.

He doesn’t require me to pray facing in any particular direction. He doesn’t require me to have a special place from which to pray.

I can pray standing, sitting, riding in a car, sitting on a bus or while at my computer. I thank him constantly that He has no strings attached to prayer other than HIS wish that I do pray.

We’re so stupid (some of us) that we set aside a room in every public school for prayer (it has to face east). We also rearrange the seating - a muslim girl cannot have a male student seated in front of, behind, or on either side of her.

We Christians just flee the public school system....while our tax dollars keep paying for this insanity.

Back in the 70s I would on occasion be transported around the Indonesian oil patch on an Indonesian work boat with an Indonesian crew. One of the crew would pray regularly. He would check the compass, roll out his prayer rug and do what he did. No one paid him any mind or ever said anything. Everyone went about their business as did he.

I’ll donate my toilet bowl - the brainwashed zombie can climb in there and pray.

It’s got a picture of mohammed painted at the bottom of the bowl with a big smile on his face, welcoming the gifts people shower upon him.

Is there a lawyer here somewhere — would my mohammed toilet bowl constitute a “hate crime” in this Orwellian twilight zone we used to call “America?”

ok forget that the religion in question is trying to take over our country and replace our Constitution with Sharia law. Forget they kill millions of people every year. Forget they don’t even allow our bibles into their countries.

Schools design all their processes so that kids aren’t allowed to be alone. They’ve been sued many times when that happens. Kids get hurt when that happens. They have hundred of kids to keep track of.
